November 5th, 2008: Board Meeting at 7pm in the
Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum
(first Wednesday of each month)

November 12th, 2008: General Member Meeting including a surf movie starting at 6pm
second Wednesday of every month at Mario's Restaurant

November 22nd, 2008: Northside Classic Surfing Tournament at Sixth Street in Huntington Beach

$20 entry in advance at the meeting or pay at Fifth Street Surf Shop - 8:00am til about 11:00am - a beach entry is okay for $25 - Nice trophies for the top six

Our goal is to have fun while generating funds and providing services for worthy causes.

Member's ages range from 11 to over 75 years old.
Members are well traveled and
have excursions to remote areas of the world.
When we get together it's normally just for fun in Surf City.

Club History link

The club hosts tournaments, monthly meetings,
an amateur surf team for CSC events and other fun social events for its members. Dues are $40.00 per year. You get a club t-shirt and a lot of new friends.

Angela Madsen, Longboard Crew lifetime member and Franck Festor completed their journey across the Atlantic!! Congratulations to these two as they make history.

Three in One Day

Thursday 7th February 2008 saw the exciting finish of no less than three rowing boats this year in just over 12 hours.

First to cross the line was Jaydubuyoo crossing the line at 03:43 local time (07:43 GMT) giving them a crossing time of 67 days, 19 hours and 43 minutes.

Next was Row of Life crossing the line at 07:24 local time (11:24 GMT) giving them a crossing time of 67 days, 23 hours and 24 minutes.

Followed by Ocean Summit crossing the line at 18:10 local time (22:10 GMT) giving them a crossing time of 68 days, 10 hours and 10 minutes.

Well done to all of the crews!

In 2006 the Longboard Crew's Surfing Team placed in almost
every Coalition of Surfing Clubs Tournament! The only one we
missed was the MSA and WNS events. Congrats to all the team members for a great showing. With over 40 clubs involved now it has been tough.
We finished 11th for 2006.

The Longboard Crew Club members are all ages and abilities.
